Greg completed tertiary studies in music and education at Monash University, which saw Greg winning the Mazda Foundation prize for the best final-year recital as part of his Bachelor of Music degree.

Engagements with various military bands have included performances for royalty, ambassadors, diplomats, foreign heads of state, senior political and world leaders including former U.S. President George W. Bush.  

Greg has also toured countries such as Japan, the United States, Tonga, Vanuatu, Turkey, Vietnam, Malaysia and the United Kingdom in various solo, orchestral and choral capacities.

Greg's theatre work in pit orchestras include the world non-professional premiere production of 'The Phantom of the Opera' (CLOC), and the Australasian non-professional premiere production of 'Sunset Boulevard' (CLOC).
